September 2026 marks the seventh season of MPT’s tribute to the legacy, excellence, and impact of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Special HBCU-themed broadcasts will air every Saturday throughout the month on MPT, culminating in a weeklong slate of dedicated programming during HBCU Week, September 21–27. Hear the under-told stories of sacrifice, courage, innovation, and hope that chronicle HBCU contributions to science, medicine, history, education, civil rights, the arts, music, sports, and more!
