Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) is shaping the future of the motorsports industry, and senior Rajah Caruth is a testament to its transformative impact.
As the only four-year public university in the nation offering a Bachelor of Science in motorsports management, WSSU is at the forefront of innovation in higher education. Through its groundbreaking initiative in partnership with NASCAR, WSSU is redefining what’s possible in this multi-billion-dollar industry. Caruth, one of NASCAR’s rising stars, has become the third Black driver to win a race in one of NASCAR’s three national series, joining trailblazers Wendell Scott and Bubba Wallace.
From the racetrack to the HBCU yard! NASCAR driver Rajah Caruth inspires students at Winston-Salem State University.
