MLB All-Star Week Hosts Ken Griffey Jr.’s 2026 HBCU Swingman Classic at Citizens Bank Park

The 2026 HBCU Swingman Classic returns during Major League Baseball All-Star Week, spotlighting the nation’s top HBCU baseball players on one of baseball’s biggest stages.

Founded by MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., the annual showcase celebrates the legacy, culture, and athletic excellence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while giving student-athletes national exposure in front of professional scouts, fans, and media.

 The 2026 game will feature former MLB stars Jimmy Rollins and Rickie Weeks as team managers, creating an unforgettable experience for players and fans during MLB All-Star Week festivities.
