The Emerging Leaders Fellowship, powered by Baltimore Corps, continues to serve as a transformative career development program designed to connect talented young professionals with high-impact opportunities across Baltimore.
Focused on advancing equity and leadership, the fellowship equips participants with the skills, networks, and real-world experience needed to thrive in today’s competitive workforce. The program specifically supports individuals who are committed to strengthening Baltimore’s communities while building meaningful, long-term careers.
What Is the Emerging Leaders Fellowship?
The Emerging Leaders Fellowship is a structured career accelerator that places fellows into mission-driven organizations across sectors such as government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit leadership.
Participants receive hands-on experience through full-time placements, while also engaging in professional development workshops, mentorship, and leadership training. This dual approach ensures fellows gain both technical expertise and the soft skills required to lead effectively.
A Focus on Equity and Opportunity
A defining feature of the program is its commitment to creating equitable access to career pathways. The fellowship prioritizes individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds, helping to close opportunity gaps and build a more inclusive workforce in Baltimore.
Through partnerships with local employers, Baltimore Corps ensures fellows are placed in roles where they can make an immediate impact while developing critical career competencies.
