Eleanor Hong is the Managing Director of Digital Content and Operations at Maryland Public Television (MPT). Hong manages MPT's principal digital operations and content assets, including overseeing digital content series and properties, the website, social media, and online content streaming services. Her extensive digital and online media background includes roles at organizations such as WORLD Channel/GBH, ABC News Digital, WatchESPN, and The Washington Post, covering a variety of beats from news, health, sports to entertainment. She has experience as an editor, producer, reporter and programming manager, as well as managing multimedia and video events.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has served as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University. Her work have contributed to work receiving awards including the Edward R Murrow Broadcasting, White House Press Photographers Association, Webby, Emmys and Editor & Publishing awards. She has been a member of the Asian American Documentary Network (A-Doc) and various journalism organizations, including the Online News Association (ONA) and Asian American Journalism Association (AAJA).
